It’s been a great week for signing up people for Cycle India 2010.

It all started with my friend Dean Hunt agreeing to take part with the following post on his website:

Who else wants to join me on a life changing challenge

Dean Hunt - taking part in Cycle India 2010

Dean is a highly talented internet marketing expert, specialising in buzz marketing. He has offered to provide mobile buzz marketing lessons to anyone taking part in Cycle India, although I have pointed out to him that a good internet connection may be a challenge in this part of India (especially while cycling).

Nevertheless, his involvement on our charity bike ride has encouraged two of his colleagues.

Firstly, Perry Lawrence contacted me and stated that he was keen to get involved. Perry has a passion for India and has been there half a dozen times, mostly in a leprosy colony outside of New Delhi and also for work in Trichy (Tiruchirapalli).

Perry is a videographer/documentarian and works with a variety of organizations. Most notably HOPE worldwide http://www.hopeww.org and also Maverick Business Adventures http://www.maverickbusinessadventures.com.

Perry has offered his services with a documentary of the trip, as well as footage, testimonials and other clips for news b-roll, YouTube, etc.

Then Perry’s good friend Carrie Wilkerson contacted me and agreed to take part.

As “The Barefoot Executive” Carrie educates, coaches and advises work-at-home women (and those who want to be) as they achieve their goals of personal & career fulfillment!

Carrie has offered to help with promoting Cycle India and creating some more buzz!

The trustees of Heal are so grateful that such talented internet marketing experts are taking part in this bike ride and helping promote our small charity. It looks like we’re building a great team!
