1. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Hasan : I am 29 years old, studied Law at University of Leicester, I am a keen sportsman so physical activities get a big yes from me. I have worked as a charity fundraiser for a few months so I know what a challenge it can be but at the same time how rewarding the experience is.
2. How did you hear about Cycle India?
Hasan: I was searching for a bicycle challenge and I came across Cycle India. I immediately felt a connection with the work that heal are involved in and I felt it was an ideal event to partake in.
3. Have you ever been involved in a similar challenge before?
Hasan: No but life is all about firsts.
4. What made you choose to do Cycle India?
Hasan: As mentioned above, I felt an immediate connection to the work that heal do, and to have an opportunity to see the children and see for myself the wonderful work that is being carried out was an opportunity I believe I should not miss and so have chosen to go for it.
5. What are your expectations from the event?
Hasan: I am really looking forward to seeing the children and the positive impact that Heal makes on their lives. To be able to see it first hand will be something that can not be matched.
6. Do you think you’ll be able to manage around 200 miles cycling in 4 days?
Hasan: I am sure it will be very challenging, but I am certainly looking forward to it. I cycle into work all be it its a 25 minute journey but I shall step up the raining regime, I also play Sunday league football so all in all I am hoping to be fit and ready when the time arrives.
7. What plans have you for reaching your fundraising target?
Hasan: I have started early so hopefully I should be able to reach my target comfortably. I have managed to raise £905 in about 3 weeks so fingers crossed ![]()
